Writing for Laughs: Stand-Up, Sketch & Social with Bonnie Q
FUNY Standup, New York, NY
CLASS: Writing for Laughs: Stand-Up, Sketch & Social with Bonnie Q
DATE & TIME: Saturdays 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
LOCATION: VIRTUAL

Bonnie Q’s comedy writing class is a practical, punchline-packed journey into the art of writing comedy for stage and screen. With a background in stand-up, sketch and viral social content—as well as training from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Second City and iO Theater—Bonnie helps students sharpen their comedic voice and learn how to write material that actually lands. You'll learn joke structure, develop original characters, explore writing for late night and social media and receive supportive, constructive feedback along the way. Whether you're dreaming of SNL or just want to get funnier on TikTok, this class gives you the skills (and laughs) to get there.
