  • Applying Corporate Skills to Comedy, Organization, and Execution with Adam Muller
  • Adam Muller started standup comedy after a decade on Wall Street, and he's often asked if he can apply any of the skills he learned in the corporate world to his comedy career. The answer is yes. During the seminar, he will expand on that. The seminar isn't about joke writing, punching up your material, or how to be funny. It's about how to use your time and resources as efficiently as possible. It has become more complicated to be a comedian. Of course, you need to write and refine jokes. But you also need to tape your sets, edit videos into clips for social media, post on social media, email bookers, promote shows, etc. Adam will discuss what he calls the "admin" of comedy.Everyone has a different system, and there is no right way, but maybe some of the things Adam discuss' can help you get more of the time you have to spend on your comedy.About Adam Muller:Adam Muller is a New York City based former finance professional turned stand-up comedian. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Adam’s clean, smart comedy blends the personal and the observational while being simultaneously clever and relatable.Adam’s first hour long stand-up comedy special “According to Plan” was released in September 2022 and is available on Amazon Prime and YouTube where it has been viewed over 139,000 times (but who’s counting?) and the audio album is in rotation on Sirius XM. Adam recorded his follow up hour this past December in New York City and it will be released in the first half of 2024.Adam has featured in multiple comedy festivals including the New York Comedy Festival, the Asheville Comedy Festival, and the Boston Comedy Festival, amongst others. Adam has also qualified for the World Series of Comedy Main Event in Las Vegas each of the past six years reaching the top 14 (out of 500) in 2021 and 2023.Adam performs all over the United States and sometimes in Canada and is a regular at multiple New York City comedy clubs including West Side Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, and Standup NY.Policies: Payment is required to complete the registration process; No Refunds, No Exchanges, No Cancellations (No semester roll-overs).We reserve the right to remove anyone from a course and refund their money at any time for any reason. Please be sure to read through our FAQ page for additional policiesIf you have any additional questions feel free to reach out to us using the contact form or by emailing [email protected]
